Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • proven experience as a sous chef in fine dining
  • experience in a high-volume kitchen
  • ability to assist with culinary and administrative tasks
  • willingness to work weekends and holidays
  • ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • willingness to obtain first aid/cpr certification
  • maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with residents, family members, visitors, and team members

Job Qualifications

  • proven cooking experience as a sous chef in fine dining
  • experience working in a high-volume kitchen
  • experience with culinary and administrative kitchen responsibilities
  • possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • willingness to obtain first aid and cpr certification
  • ability to work weekends and holidays
  • strong commitment to values of excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion

Job Duties

  • assist the chef with culinary and administrative tasks
  • contribute to resident and guest satisfaction and goals
  • deliver high quality food and maintain product standards
  • ensure sanitation and safety in the kitchen
  • train new and existing kitchen staff in food preparation and plating
  • uphold menu standards and consistency
  • maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with residents, family, visitors, and team members
