Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • proven cooking experience as a sous chef in fine dining
  • experience working in a high-volume kitchen
  • experience in culinary and administrative responsibilities of a kitchen
  • ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • willingness to obtain first aid/cpr certification
  • willingness to work weekends and holidays
  • maintain a positive and professional attitude with residents, family members, visitors, and team members

Job Duties

  • assist the chef with culinary and administrative tasks
  • contribute to resident and guest satisfaction and goals
  • maintain high quality of food, product standards, sanitation, and safety
  • train new and existing kitchen staff in preparation, arrangement, and plating of dishes
  • uphold kitchen cleanliness and organization
  • help manage inventory and kitchen supplies
  • collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional dining experiences
