Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • proven cooking experience as a sous chef in fine dining
  • experience working in a high-volume kitchen
  • experience in culinary and administrative responsibilities of a kitchen
  • willingness to obtain first aid/cpr certification
  • willingness to work weekends and holidays
  • ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds
  • ability to stay on feet for long periods
  • maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with residents, family members, visitors, and team members

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • assist the chef with culinary and administrative tasks
  • contribute to resident and guest satisfaction and goals
  • ensure the highest quality of food, product standards, sanitation, and safety
  • assist in training new and existing kitchen staff in preparation, arrangement, and plating of dishes
  • maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with residents, family members, visitors, and team members
  • work weekends and holidays as required
  • lift and carry up to 30 pounds and stay on feet for long periods
