Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of four years’ progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment
  • experience in all cooking stations and methods
  • serveSafe certification preferred

Job Duties

  • oversee food preparation and cooking in all production environments
  • direct and support day-to-day kitchen operations
  • supervise food production and sanitation staff
  • assist with hiring and training new kitchen staff
  • manage daily duties in absence of the executive chef
  • open and close kitchen
  • participate in inventory control, develop par sheets, and place food and supply orders
