- high school diploma or g.e.d.
- seven years of food service experience in hospital, commercial restaurant, or other food service operation
- healthcare experience preferred
- ability to accurately follow oral and written instructions
- ability to handle chemicals safely and lift up to 25 lbs

Job Duties
- perform skilled preparation and production of food items including therapeutic diets
- supervise and assist kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas according to procedures
- accurately follow standardized recipes and production sheets
- participate in inventory management and cost control efforts
- attend meetings and training sessions as required
- perform computer-related activities relevant to kitchen operations
