  • high school diploma or g.e.d.
  • seven years of food service experience in hospital, commercial restaurant, or other food service operation
  • healthcare experience preferred
  • ability to accurately follow oral and written instructions
  • ability to handle chemicals safely and lift up to 25 lbs

Job Duties

  • perform skilled preparation and production of food items including therapeutic diets
  • supervise and assist kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, and presentation
  • clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas according to procedures
  • accurately follow standardized recipes and production sheets
  • participate in inventory management and cost control efforts
  • attend meetings and training sessions as required
  • perform computer-related activities relevant to kitchen operations
