Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a sous chef or similar role
  • Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

Job Duties

  • Train and empower kitchen staff to excel in their roles fostering a culture of growth and accountability
  • Ensure seamless operations and maintain high cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen
  • Uphold the highest standards of food quality and safety ensuring every dish meets Maui Brewing Co standards
  • Address any kitchen issues promptly to guarantee a smooth and efficient workflow
  • Foster smooth communication and collaboration with the front-of-house team to ensure consistent service quality
