Job Requirements
- Must have degree in Culinary Arts
- Food safety/manager certification required
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to maintain tact and cool under pressure

Job Qualifications
- Degree in Culinary Arts
- Food safety and manager certification
- Expertise in food product, presentation, quality, and preparation
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports, purchase orders, menus, and correspondence
- Ability to communicate to groups of customers or employees
- Ability to perform basic math calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, rate, ratio, and percent
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with varied situations
- Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills

Job Duties
- Provide excellent food quality and presentation
- Manage culinary functions to meet food quality goals
- Ensure timely food production and educate servers about the menu
- Participate in service education through daily line-ups, quarterly menu meetings, and training programs
- Meet financial targets while maintaining food quality and service standards
- Maintain high level of cleanliness in kitchen facilities
- Supervise, train, and develop kitchen staff
- Assist General Manager with kitchen employee supervision including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Address complaints and resolve problems
