Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- two to three years of experience in a hotel, restaurant, or club with fine dining preferred
- culinary education preferred
- supervisory experience desirable
- knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance
- understanding of nutrition and diet principles
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- assists with food orders, production sheets, daily assignments and shift change walk-throughs of kitchen staff
- assists in creating, planning, costing and executing menus, theme buffets, specials and holiday menus
- ensures that each plate leaving the kitchen meets high presentation standards, is a quality product and is properly portioned
