Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years culinary experience including 1 year as a Sous Chef
- Proven leadership ability
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation
- Ability to work flexible schedules
- Ability to manage inventory and control costs effectively
- Ability to lead by example and motivate team members

- 2-5 years of culinary experience with at least 1 year as a Sous Chef at a high-quality operation
- Proven leadership skills in a culinary environment

- Experience with banquet and special event production

- Strong inventory and cost control expertise
- Commitment to maintaining high quality and presentation standards
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily culinary operations
- Apply creative and innovative culinary skills while meeting financial goals
- Teach and enforce consistency in food preparation and presentation
- Ensure thorough knowledge and application of food handling and preparation techniques
- Manage production of banquets and special events
- Instill safety and sanitation practices among all culinary associates
- Stay current on new culinary products, presentations, and technical execution
- Implement strong inventory and cost control measures
- Lead and inspire culinary team with participative management style
- Communicate goals and expectations, fostering associate career growth
- Build morale and spirit within the department
- Demonstrate leadership by example
