Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
  • excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and ingredients
  • strong leadership and management skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

  • degree from a culinary school is a plus

Job Duties

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards
  • manage the kitchen staff, ensuring that all food is prepared in a timely manner
  • maintain a clean and organized kitchen
  • ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • assist in menu planning and recipe development
  • train and mentor kitchen staff
  • order and maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and equipment
  • assist in the preparation of food as needed
