Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in culinary leadership and fine dining
  • ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across teams
  • strong knowledge of food and beverage
  • fluency in English
  • certification in hospitality-related field preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • cultivate a culture of Enlightened Hospitality for all stakeholders that supports business objectives and growth
  • ensure high performance and maintain excellence and hospitality throughout each day’s service periods
  • ensure consistent execution of food and timely flow of service by directing the team and effectively expediting service
  • educate dining room service staff on all aspects of food menu and culinary procedures through tastings and staff presentations
  • maintain positive working relationships with dining room leaders and line staff at all times
  • ensure all recipes, product, food preparations, and food execution meet restaurant's specifications and commitment to culinary excellence
  • ensure kitchen and physical plant are kept clean, safe and up to all "A" level health code standards
  • ensure all team members are appropriately trained to execute their stations properly and partner with the Sous Chef team to adequately train new hires
  • perform additional responsibilities and duties as assigned to support team objectives and operational success
