Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- 5+ years of cooking experience in high-volume kitchen or equivalent education preferred
- Experience in hospitality field preferred
- ServSafe certified preferred
- Required to work a flexible schedule including off hours, nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand consecutively for up to 8 hours
- Must apply and obtain the appropriate state occupational gaming license, including lifetime FBI criminal background check
- Must pass drug testing per company drug free workplace policy and applicable background checks

Job Duties
- Lead the kitchen staff and maintain high food quality, consistency, inventory, and cost
- Assist Executive Chef in monitoring kitchen activities and expediting orders to ensure quality taste and presentation
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper work procedures
- Ensure adherence to standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies
- Protect the integrity of all recipes and ensure consistent preparation
- Oversee food preparation and cooking according to company specifications
- Monitor station product quality, production status, and inventory through walk-throughs
- Communicate with Executive Chef and kitchen staff regarding daily menu needs and shift information
- Manage food, waste, labor costs, and controllable expenses to achieve profit objectives
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Supervise kitchen closing procedures and ensure compliance with closing checklists
- Create a warm, welcoming, and positive environment for guests and staff
- Uphold company standards of courtesy and respect
- Perform all other duties as assigned
