Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or certification preferred
  • Minimum 3 years professional cooking experience in a high-volume kitchen
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality

Job Duties

  • Lead daily kitchen operations within assigned area, guiding and mentoring culinary teams
  • Champion ingredient excellence by inspecting freshness and standardizing recipes
  • Maintain seamless production flow by monitoring inventory and preventing shortages
  • Drive culinary innovation and catering excellence through cost-efficient and quality-focused ideas
  • Uphold rigorous production standards to meet timelines, quality benchmarks, and client specifications
  • Ensure menu items meet DO & CO's signature quality standards for airline and premium catering
  • Support Executive Chef with proposal, menu concepts, food cost control, reporting, and scheduling
  • Optimize staffing coverage and travel logistics for catered events
  • Enforce compliance with food safety, sanitation, and equipment care standards
  • Train, motivate, and manage kitchen personnel and supervise assigned culinary activities
