Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or g e d plus seven years of food service experience in a hospital commercial restaurant or other food service operation
  • ability to accurately follow oral and written instructions
  • ability to accurately follow instructions when using disposing and mixing chemicals
  • ability to lift 25 lbs

Job Duties

  • perform skilled production of all types of food for patients staff and visitor consumption including therapeutic diets
  • accurately prepare assigned food items from standardized recipes
  • clean equipment and area following established procedures
  • supervise and assist staff with preparation cooking and presentation of food product
  • issue and inventory food items
  • participate in inventory and cost control in designated area
  • perform computer related activities as required
