Job Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of line cook experience at a full service restaurant or catering company
- High school graduate, college preferred
- Legal eligibility to work in the US
- Proficiency in English communication
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of health code compliance and safety procedures
- Ability to handle guest and employee incidents professionally
- Experience in inventory management and cost control
- Capability to use POS systems for menu and employee programming and reporting
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Lead the team in the application of Fox Bros BBQ style, practices, culture, terminology, organizational structure, and general philosophy
- Consistently follow and enforce all Employee Handbook policies and practices and applicable laws
- Maintain integrity, openness and accessibility to employees and guests
- Control flow of kitchen with regards to maximizing revenue and maintaining culinary standards
- Address problems quickly, appropriately, and proactively when possible
- Participate in the hiring, training, supervision and discipline of all kitchen staff
- Ensure all trainees are on-boarded and clocked in before beginning work
- Participate in wage adjustments, transfers, promotions and dismissals
- Assume and master areas of responsibility for ongoing education and development
- Foster an educational environment for staff development
- Actively audit service and performance during shifts and address issues
- Participate in menu changes ensuring thorough staff training and education
- Utilize the daily communication log
- Oversee daily pre-shift meetings to foster positive and developmental work environment
- Collaborate in management team meetings with clear objectives
- Ensure opening, preparation, and closing tasks are trained and executed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen work environment
- Identify unsafe working conditions and address or report them
- Train staff on Health Code compliance and monitor daily
- Train staff on handling guest and employee accidents
- Monitor labor, scheduling and overtime to maximize productivity and profit
- Oversee ordering, receiving, invoice processing and inventory of products and supplies
- Manage daily housekeeping and maintenance schedules
- Observe facility and equipment conditions and recommend improvements
