Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a supervisory culinary role
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
  • excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • adherence to dress code and company policies

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in food preparation and culinary operations
  • knowledge of OSHA, Health Department, and HACCP regulations
  • skills in staff training and development
  • effective communication and leadership skills
  • ability to manage food costs and budgets
  • proficiency in maintaining kitchen safety and sanitation standards
  • experience with inventory management and administrative tasks

Job Duties

  • Provide the highest quality of service in accordance with ISS/Guckenheimer and client standards
  • utilize food preparation procedures that comply with federal, state, and local regulations
  • assist the Executive Chef with administrative duties including attendance and human resources
  • monitor and review HACCP logs
  • assemble ready-to-eat menu items following core standards for presentation, packaging, and labeling
  • clean and sanitize work areas and equipment following regulatory rules
  • support the management team with monthly inventory
  • notify management of concerns regarding product quantities or safety
  • attend daily meetings
  • report accidents and injuries promptly
  • carry out additional assigned duties
