Job Requirements

  • Three to five years of commercial cooking experience or culinary school certification
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP regulations
  • Ability to manage food costs and inventory effectively
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Leadership abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer applications
  • Willingness to work on-site in Phoenix, USA

Job Qualifications

  • Three to five years of experience in commercial cooking or Apprenticeship or Certification from culinary school
  • Knowledge of food and hygiene regulations including HACCP
  • Ability to understand and demonstrate financial controls such as managing food costs, stock levels, and minimizing waste
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Service orientation
  • Leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications

Job Duties

  • Execute and supervise food production activities such as cleaning, cutting, marinating, seasoning, and cooking of food items
  • Assume responsibilities of Executive Chef during absences, including menu presentations and management duties
  • Supervise, coordinate, and control kitchen helpers in food storage and maintenance of hygiene standards
  • Conduct and oversee inventories and monitor material consumption
  • Order required food and equipment daily to meet production plans
  • Participate in development of food products and menus
  • Maintain and monitor hygiene, health, safety, and HACCP compliance
  • Conduct quality control checks and ensure adherence to recipe specifications
  • Organize, staff, and direct area of responsibility effectively
  • Guide, motivate, and develop subordinate employees according to HR policies
  • Implement and control cost budgets and initiate corrective actions
  • Support company initiatives such as Global Quality Standards, HACCP, and Lean Manufacturing
