Job Requirements
- Prior culinary experience is required
- Ability to work full time Monday through Friday with flexible hours
- Knowledge of state and federal food safety regulations
- Ability to lift and carry kitchen-related equipment and supplies
- Willingness to adhere to company policies including drug-free workplace
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with associates and customers
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shift

Job Duties
- Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
- Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
- Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, and counseling
- Stores food following all corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
- Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils
- Cleans workstation thoroughly and keeps display equipment clean during meal service
- Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Demonstrates understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to associates and customers
- Monitors inventory and deliveries of products and supplies
- Tracks product production, consumption, and waste and informs supervisor when supplies are low
- Performs other duties as assigned
