Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills in English for effective interaction with guests and team members
  • ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
  • previous relevant experience and a proven track record of sound judgment
  • cooperative, helpful, and friendly nature with a well-groomed appearance
  • ability to complete and maintain "Serv-Safe" (Food Sanitation Management) certification within 120 days of employment
  • extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and procedures
  • ability to complete Responsible Alcohol Management Program training
  • proficiency in understanding and communicating Material Data Safety Sheets to team members
  • ability to successfully complete the pre-employment process and work flexible shifts, including holidays

Job Duties

  • Directly supervise kitchen team members during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to company guidelines
  • uphold the highest standard of quality in all aspects of food preparation
  • monitor and manage food inventory, ensuring proper rotation and maintaining appropriate levels
  • coordinate and conduct comprehensive training for kitchen team members to ensure proficient performance of all duties
  • assist the Room Chef in overseeing departmental operations and provide personnel recommendations as needed
  • ensure thorough knowledge of kitchen inventory and proactively monitor supplies and food items for quality and quantity
  • maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment at all times
  • address guest complaints or issues promptly and courteously
  • prioritize safety and accident prevention, promptly reporting any incidents and completing necessary documentation
  • adhere to all departmental rules, policies, and procedures, setting high standards for the team
  • other duties as assigned
