- Excellent interpersonal communication skills in English for effective interaction with guests and team members
- ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
- previous relevant experience and a proven track record of sound judgment
- cooperative, helpful, and friendly nature with a well-groomed appearance
- ability to complete and maintain "Serv-Safe" (Food Sanitation Management) certification within 120 days of employment
- extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and procedures
- ability to complete Responsible Alcohol Management Program training
- proficiency in understanding and communicating Material Data Safety Sheets to team members
- ability to successfully complete the pre-employment process and work flexible shifts, including holidays
Job Duties
- Directly supervise kitchen team members during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to company guidelines
- uphold the highest standard of quality in all aspects of food preparation
- monitor and manage food inventory, ensuring proper rotation and maintaining appropriate levels
- coordinate and conduct comprehensive training for kitchen team members to ensure proficient performance of all duties
- assist the Room Chef in overseeing departmental operations and provide personnel recommendations as needed
- ensure thorough knowledge of kitchen inventory and proactively monitor supplies and food items for quality and quantity
- maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment at all times
- address guest complaints or issues promptly and courteously
- prioritize safety and accident prevention, promptly reporting any incidents and completing necessary documentation
- adhere to all departmental rules, policies, and procedures, setting high standards for the team
- other duties as assigned
