Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous kitchen supervisory or management experience preferred but not required
  • ability to work full time Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm
  • ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • effective communication and team leadership skills
  • ability to handle customer interactions professionally
  • willingness to perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Previous kitchen supervisory or management experience preferred but not required
  • ability to work full time Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm

  • ability to manage inventory and supervise staff
  • culinary skills to prepare and cook food according to recipes

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
  • ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, participating in reviews and recommending disciplinary action as appropriate
  • stores food in designated areas following all corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
  • maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils, cleans workstation thoroughly before leaving area, and keeps display equipment clean during meal service
  • interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner and relays relevant information to supervisors
  • demonstrates complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to associates and customers
  • monitors inventory and deliveries of product and supplies and tracks product production, consumption and waste
  • informs supervisor when supplies or products are low
  • performs other duties as assigned
