Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory culinary role
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in high volume settings
- Knowledge of food safety and storage standards
- Strong leadership and team coaching skills
- Culinary training or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with menu costing and development
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- Progressive culinary talent with minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory role
- Proven ability to work under pressure and in high volume operations
- Experience in menu design through researching emerging trends in food and beverage
Job Duties
- Work alongside the Executive Chef assisting in food preparation for restaurants and catering
- Coach, guide and mentor culinary team ensuring excellence in preparation
- Assist in food costing of menu items
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of food in accordance with standards
- Collaborate with catering department to provide menu options exceeding guest expectations
- Assist Executive Chef with menu development and execution
- Provide training to new associates and maintain ongoing skills enhancement program
