Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of experience leading a BOH team in a high volume and full service kitchen
  • Supervisor experience
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, noisy, and distracting environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly
  • Valid Food Handlers card
  • Ability to distinguish different tastes such as sweet and bitter
  • Physical ability to maneuver within the restaurant, operate restaurant and office equipment, and ascend/descend stairs or ladders

Job Qualifications

  • Two years of experience leading a BOH team in a high volume and full service kitchen
  • Supervisor experience required
  • Experience as a Sous Chef preferred
  • Sushi experience preferred
  • Valid Food Handlers card required

Job Duties

  • Ensuring a culture of positivity and accountability
  • Executing operational excellence in food quality, service, and guest experience
  • In partnership with the Executive Chef, drive, lead, and oversee all of the kitchen and sushi operations to positively impact P&L
  • Ensure critical quality control points for every menu item, as well as portioning and plating, to ensure dishes received by guests are to spec
  • Hiring, training, and developing employees
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information discreetly and professionally
  • Leading a BOH team in a high volume and full service kitchen
