Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of kitchen supervisory experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue
  • Experience preparing catered events and presenting foods for special events desirable
  • Relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Current ServSafe certification

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations and review monthly profit and loss statements to make adjustments
  • Work with the Operations team and Sales staff to plan, supervise, and execute banquet functions including food preparation, service, and clean-up
  • Estimate food consumption and make appropriate purchases according to specified food programs
  • Schedule staff efficiently to accommodate shifts in business volume
  • Partner with Kitchen Manager or General Manager to address and resolve disciplinary issues and foster teamwork
  • Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards and supervise food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage
  • Assist with kitchen equipment maintenance and conduct sanitation audits for compliance with local Department of Health regulations
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment at all times and report critical issues to General Manager immediately
