Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 5 years of relevant high volume culinary management experience
- ability to work full time with open availability preferred
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- ability to stand for extended periods
- physical ability to perform kitchen duties
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- willingness to work varied shifts Monday through Friday
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of high volume culinary management experience preferred
- culinary management or related education preferred
- strong leadership and team management skills
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- effective communication and customer service skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- familiarity with inventory control and food production tracking

- ability to supervise and train staff
Job Duties
- Helps Executive Chef prepare and cook foods
- coordinates activities of cooks and other food-service associates
- assumes responsibility for kitchen and food-service associates in the absence of Executive Chef
- cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
- supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, and counseling
- stores food following all corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
- ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
- maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils
- interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- demonstrates complete understanding of daily menu items and explains them to associates and customers
- keeps up with peak production and service hours
- monitors inventory and deliveries of product and supplies
- tracks product production, consumption and waste
- informs supervisor when supplies or product are low
- performs other duties as assigned
