Job Requirements

  • Previous food service experience required
  • Able to work full-time schedule from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm with varying days
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
  • Commitment to maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
  • Willingness to interact positively with customers and associates
  • Ability to manage inventory and kitchen operations
  • Must comply with company policies and maintain a drug-free workplace

  • Understanding of food preparation and cooking techniques

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and recommending disciplinary action
  • Stores food in designated areas following all food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
  • Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils
  • Cleans workstation thoroughly and keeps display equipment clean
  • Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • Demonstrates complete understanding of daily menu items and explains them to associates and customers
  • Monitors inventory, deliveries, product consumption, and waste, informing supervisor when supplies are low
  • Performs other duties as assigned
