Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory or management kitchen role
- at least 5 years of cooking experience
- reliable transportation
- background in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, healthcare, or related food service operations
- knowledge of food and industry trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, safety, food cost controls, and presentation
- ability to set up and distribute production sheets
- proven supervisory, leadership, training, management, and mentoring skills
- ServSafe or Department of Health Certification preferred
- proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office including Excel
- associate's degree in culinary arts preferred

Job Duties
- Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards
- supervise hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, training, counseling, performance reviews, and recommending disciplinary action
- store food in designated areas following corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
- ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
- maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils, clean workstations thoroughly
- interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- monitor inventory and deliveries of product and supplies, track product production, consumption, and waste
- perform other duties as assigned
