Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-3 years kitchen supervisory experience in high-volume settings
  • Current ServSafe certification
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments
  • Good organizational and leadership skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-3 years kitchen supervisory experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
  • Experience preparing catered events and special food presentations desirable
  • Current ServSafe certification
  • Relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the company’s mandated Food & Beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
  • Review monthly profit & loss statements and make adjustments as necessary
  • Work with Operations team and Sales staff to plan, supervise, and execute banquet functions including preparation, service, and clean-up
  • Estimate food consumption and make appropriate purchases
  • Schedule staff efficiently to accommodate business volume shifts
  • Partner with Kitchen Manager or General Manager to address disciplinary issues and foster teamwork
  • Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • Supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of food
  • Assist with kitchen equipment maintenance and conduct sanitation audits to comply with Department of Health regulations
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Report critical issues promptly to General Manager
