Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Three to five years of experience with increasing levels of responsibility in various kitchen settings required
  • State food safety certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Ensure overall kitchen cleanliness including refrigerators, freezers, ovens, floor, dishes after each meal and food prep per Department of Public Health standards
  • Ensure the safety of clients with dietary restrictions and/or preferences
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of lunch, dinner, and snacks daily
  • Quality check all meals and snacks served during shift
  • Ensure recipes are produced accurately and efficiently
  • Resourcefully solve any culinary related issues that arise during shift, and/or follow proper chain of command
