Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in high-volume kitchen leadership

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in high-volume kitchen leadership with strong classic cooking skills
  • skilled in butchering meats and fish
  • confident supporting seasonal menu development with the executive chef
  • ability to read business levels for each shift, conduct thorough line checks, and ensure stations are fully prepared for service
  • pride in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen while managing food costs, inventory, prep lists, and daily production with accuracy
  • calm, confident decision-maker under pressure who leads by example during busy services
  • team-focused leader who trains new team members, mentors developing cooks, and collaborates to solve challenges

Job Duties

  • assist with overseeing kitchen staff and ensuring smooth service operations during shifts
  • support and mentor line cooks, ensuring consistency in food quality and presentation while continuing to elevate team skills
  • manage prep work, assist with inventory control, place orders, and support the kitchen with production tasks
  • work hand-in-hand with other sous chefs and the executive chef to meet daily production goals and uphold high standards
  • promote the noble food & pursuits mission, creating an environment where both staff and guests feel valued
