Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or significant leadership experience in a kitchen
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards
- Leadership abilities and team management skills
- Certification in Serve Safe Manager
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or significant line cook experience in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and safety standards
- Leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Culinary degree or formal training is a plus
- Valid Serve Safe Manager certification
- Previous experience working in a kitchen supervisor role
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations
- Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff, including line cooks and prep team
- Ensure food is prepared and presented to high standards of quality and consistency
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to promote growth and maintain team morale
- Monitor portion control, food cost, and waste reduction efforts
- Step in and lead the kitchen during the Executive Chef's absence
- Help create new menu items and specials in collaboration with the Executive Chef
