Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a culinary or hotel kitchen setting
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace

- Proven experience as a sous chef or relevant role

Job Duties
- Help with training all kitchen associates on job duties, plate presentation, and display work
- Assist with scheduling, evaluating, and directing kitchen personnel
- Maintain open verbal and written communication between management and associates
- Write and present disciplinary action as needed
- Provide associates with necessary tools and equipment
- Take immediate action on kitchen problems
- Participate in department and staff meetings, kitchen inventory, and MOD program
- Ensure high-quality food is prepared and served efficiently
- Assist in establishing kitchen goals, standards, and objectives
- Supervise kitchen staff and utility/sanitation associates in the absence of Executive Chef
- Maintain use records, roast meat charts, and recipe cards
- Prepare recipe cards and picture presentations for menu items
