Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in kitchen leadership role
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Supervise, guide and train kitchen associates to provide quality food production focusing on timing, portions, food quality and sanitation/cleanliness
  • Ensure standards related to storage, rotation, production, portions, quality and appearance are consistently followed
  • Follow food handling guidelines
  • Complete opening and closing procedures for Station Cooks I, II and III
  • Expedite food efficiently from front line during meal periods
  • Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies and materials for associates
  • Participate in monthly food and beverage inventory
