Job Requirements
- previous sous chef experience, lead line cook, supervisor, culinary school or equivalent is required
- valid work authorization to work in the United States
- ability to work full-time Monday through Friday morning shifts
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- capability to understand and follow food safety regulations
- physical ability to stand for long periods and lift kitchen equipment
- willingness to work in a team-oriented environment
Job Qualifications
- culinary school graduate or equivalent culinary experience
- previous sous chef or lead line cook experience
- demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
- knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and portion control standards
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- ability to manage inventory and kitchen resources effectively
Job Duties
- cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
- ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
- supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and recommending disciplinary action
- stores food in designated areas following all corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
- ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
- maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils
- cleans workstation thoroughly
- keeps display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service
- interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- relays relevant information to supervisor
- demonstrates complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to associates and customers
- keeps up with peak production and service hours
- monitors inventory and deliveries of product and supplies
- tracks product production, consumption, and waste
- informs supervisor when supplies or product are low
- performs other duties as assigned
