Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of culinary experience
  • Leadership experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or fine dining setting
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of culinary experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or sous chef role
  • Strong culinary skills with creativity and attention to detail
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience managing a diverse team
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Knowledge of current culinary trends, seasonal ingredients, and sustainable practices
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations and menu planning
  • Supervise, train, and motivate culinary team members
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering, and cost control
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • Support scheduling, performance management, and staff development
  • Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
  • Lead by example in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and professionalism in the kitchen
