Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years of culinary experience
- Leadership experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or fine dining setting
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of culinary experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or sous chef role
- Strong culinary skills with creativity and attention to detail
- Proven leadership abilities with experience managing a diverse team
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Knowledge of current culinary trends, seasonal ingredients, and sustainable practices
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations and menu planning
- Supervise, train, and motivate culinary team members
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and cost control
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Support scheduling, performance management, and staff development
- Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
- Lead by example in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and professionalism in the kitchen
