Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • culinary arts degree or certification preferred
  • minimum of 3 years experience in a professional kitchen environment
  • availability to work full time 40 hours per week
  • willingness to work some weekends
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • physical capability to perform kitchen tasks
  • knowledge of dietary restrictions and special nutrition requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a sous chef or similar culinary role
  • ability to lead and manage kitchen staff
  • strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation
  • experience with menu development and recipe execution
  • understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • passion for creating high-quality meals

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and support the Executive Chef
  • mentor and develop culinary team members
  • prepare a variety of dishes from artisanal to large-scale productions
  • follow complex recipes and contribute to menu planning
  • ensure execution of diverse culinary offerings including special dietary needs
  • maintain high standards of safety, quality, and cleanliness
  • engage with customers to deliver excellent service and dining experiences
