Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of culinary experience
  • At least 2 years in a leadership or sous chef role in a luxury hotel, resort, or fine dining establishment
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • Strong culinary skills
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to manage inventory and cost control

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations, menu planning, and recipe development
  • Supervise, train, and motivate culinary team members to ensure a positive, efficient, and professional work environment
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation across dining outlets
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering, and cost control to achieve budgetary goals
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • Support scheduling, performance management, and development of kitchen staff
  • Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
  • Lead by example in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and professionalism in all kitchen areas
