Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior guest service experience preferred
- Ability to work full time Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm
- Availability to work in Tucker, Georgia at the Oglethorpe Power location
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with food preparation and kitchen duties
- Willingness to adhere to all food safety and sanitation procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior guest service experience preferred
- Experience in food preparation and culinary arts
- Supervisory experience in a foodservice environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards
- Ensure all deadlines are met based on production orders
- Supervise hourly food service associates, including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and recommending disciplinary action
- Store food in designated areas following all corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
- Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils
- Clean workstation thoroughly before leaving area
- Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service to comply with all sanitation, safety, production and merchandising requirements
- Interact with customers to resolve complaints in a service-oriented manner
- Relay relevant information directly to supervisor
- Demonstrate complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to associates and customers
- Monitor inventory and deliveries of product and supplies
- Track product production, consumption and waste
- Inform supervisor when supplies or product are low
- Perform other duties as assigned
