Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 3-5 years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen
- at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or sous chef role
- proven ability to lead and motivate kitchen staff
- strong background in kitchen operations
- experience with inventory control and ordering
- proficiency in food safety and sanitation standards
- excellent communication skills
- ability to multitask effectively
- customer service oriented
- basic computer proficiency
- flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- degree in hospitality management preferred
- minimum 3-5 years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or sous chef role
- proven ability to lead and motivate kitchen staff in a high-volume or fine-dining environment
- strong background in kitchen operations including prep, line execution, plating and service standards
- experience with inventory control, ordering and vendor relationships
- proficiency in maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
- demonstrated skills in menu development, recipe costing and seasonal specials
- ability to collaborate with the executive chef and FOH teams
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- customer-focused mindset with a passion for providing outstanding service
- ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately
- basic computer proficiency including MS Office and reservation software
- flexibility to work shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- assist in the preparation of ingredients including chopping, marinating, and portioning
- ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands and guest expectations
- maintain a clean and organized work area following all safety and sanitation guidelines
- monitor food quality during preparation and cooking to ensure flavor and presentation meet resort standards
- collaborate with the culinary team to create seasonal menus and specials providing input on new dishes
- assist with inventory management including receiving and storing food products and reporting any shortages
- support kitchen operations by cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations
- adhere to all health and safety regulations ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen atmosphere
