Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 3-5 years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen
  • at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or sous chef role
  • proven ability to lead and motivate kitchen staff
  • strong background in kitchen operations
  • experience with inventory control and ordering
  • proficiency in food safety and sanitation standards
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to multitask effectively
  • customer service oriented
  • basic computer proficiency
  • flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • degree in hospitality management preferred
  • minimum 3-5 years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or sous chef role
  • proven ability to lead and motivate kitchen staff in a high-volume or fine-dining environment
  • strong background in kitchen operations including prep, line execution, plating and service standards
  • experience with inventory control, ordering and vendor relationships
  • proficiency in maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
  • demonstrated skills in menu development, recipe costing and seasonal specials
  • ability to collaborate with the executive chef and FOH teams
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately
  • basic computer proficiency including MS Office and reservation software

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
  • assist in the preparation of ingredients including chopping, marinating, and portioning
  • ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands and guest expectations
  • maintain a clean and organized work area following all safety and sanitation guidelines
  • monitor food quality during preparation and cooking to ensure flavor and presentation meet resort standards
  • collaborate with the culinary team to create seasonal menus and specials providing input on new dishes
  • assist with inventory management including receiving and storing food products and reporting any shortages
  • support kitchen operations by cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations
  • adhere to all health and safety regulations ensuring compliance with food safety standards
  • participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen atmosphere
