Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Culinary degree or equivalent preferred
- At least 4 years of related experience and or training as a Sous Chef of a food service operation with sales in excess of $4M or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Must possess a Servsafe and or San Diego County Food Handlers Manager Card
- Occasional travel to events and other bistro locations

- At least 4 years of related experience or training as a Sous Chef in a food service operation with sales exceeding $4M
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Possession of Servsafe or San Diego County Food Handlers Manager Card
- Ability to effectively lead and communicate with kitchen and event teams
- Understanding of health, sanitation, and safety regulations and compliance
- Strong organizational skills for inventory and food quality management
Job Duties
- Lead, train, guide, delegate, and support all kitchen team members
- Oversee the preparation of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using various kitchen equipment
- Supervise shifts by communicating labor and service needs with managers, kitchen team, peers, crew members, events department, and fans
- Assist management with recruiting processes and team member onboarding as needed
- Conduct development, coaching, and performance feedback and reviews regularly
- Ensure adherence to all recipe and kitchen specifications and standards
- Maintain food pars, inventory, and station products with proper rotation
- Lead completion of projects and assignments including opening and closing duties
- Collaborate with kitchen, event, and front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional fan experiences
- Support Event Chef and crew with event menu specifications and execution
- Train and demonstrate required skills across all kitchen stations
- Comply with health, sanitation, and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation
- Ensure quality, accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of menu items
- Collaborate with Kitchen Manager on food orders and inventory
- Monitor vendor quality and quantity issues
- Manage proper food storage, labeling, dating, and inventory
- Minimize waste and shrinkage across food products
- Create a motivational environment with open communication for team members
