Job Requirements
- Two-year culinary degree preferred
- minimum five years food preparation experience with three years supervisory capacity
- Safe Serve certification required
- knowledge of food safety regulations
- ability to lead and direct others
- ability to read and write English
- meet attendance and punctuality standards
- proficient with software and office equipment
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- stand for eight-hour shifts
- pass health requirements
- maintain safe work environment
- flexibility for occasional travel
Job Qualifications
- Culinary degree preferred
- minimum of five years food preparation experience in high-volume dining services
- at least three years supervisory experience
- experience in senior living environment preferred
- Safe Serve certification
- knowledge of food handling and safety protocols
- ability to read, write and follow recipe directions
- leadership and supervisory skills
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- proficiency with software and office equipment
- ability to work with minimal supervision
Job Duties
- Prepare hot food including accompaniments and garnishes
- supervise daily food production and production staff
- ensure food quality meets established standards
- complete food temperature checks each meal
- ensure proper food storage and rotation of leftovers
- supervise cleaning assignments and maintain safe working environment
- attend and participate in in-service training and education programs
