Job Requirements

  • Minimum five years of experience in Food & Beverage culinary operations
  • At least two years managing personnel
  • Ability to obtain a valid Racing License and health certifications
  • Strong leadership and management abilities
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours and handle high-pressure environments
  • Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of experience in Food & Beverage culinary operations
  • At least two years of managerial experience
  • Strong management skills
  • Financial and business acumen including budget preparation and reporting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Creative problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work flexible hours and handle high pressure deadlines
  • Must have or be able to obtain a valid Racing License and applicable health certifications

Job Duties

  • Manage all areas of Food & Beverage Back of House operations
  • Oversee kitchen stewards, cooks, and lead cooks
  • Develop Back of House team members including interviewing, hiring, coaching, retention, and termination
  • Review staffing levels and maintain budgeted employment
  • Enforce company policies, safety, and health regulations
  • Improve service execution, ticket times, and production schedules
  • Control food costs including purchasing specifications, portion control, and waste control
