Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience as a sous chef or in a comparable culinary role
  • proficiency in culinary arts and kitchen operations
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • excellent communication abilities
  • experience with inventory controls and cost management
  • organizational skills and attention to detail
  • ability to manage administrative tasks such as invoicing and payroll audits
  • capacity to maintain composure under stress
  • availability to work flexible hours
  • compliance with pre-employment screening processes including drug screen and background check

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience as a sous chef or similar culinary role
  • strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary arts

Job Duties

  • Manage operating standards set by executive chef
  • conduct daily audits of all inventory and storage areas
  • lend guidance and instruction of food preparation and educate line associates on proper techniques
  • adhere to directions by executive chef and ensure all tasks are completed by scheduled due dates
  • comply with daily ordering needs in accordance with revenue and food cost expectations
  • monitor product usage and waste levels
  • perform daily administrative duties including invoicing, weekly scheduling, and bi-weekly payroll audits
  • assist with disciplinary measures and performance tracking under executive chef's guidance
  • expedite daily restaurant service leading line cooks and front-of-house needs to deliver outstanding guest service
