Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a kitchen supervision role
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Experience in supervising kitchen staff in a restaurant or banquet setting
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to train and guide kitchen associates effectively
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Previous experience with inventory management is preferred
- Culinary certification is an advantage but not required
Job Duties
- Supervise guide and train kitchen associates to provide quality food production for restaurants and banquets focusing on timing portions food quality and sanitation cleanliness
- Ensure standards pertaining to storage rotation production portions quality and appearance are followed at all times
- Follow food handling guidelines
- Complete opening and closing procedures for Station Cooks I II and III
- Expedite food efficiently from front line during meal periods
- Ensure appropriate inventory of supplies and materials for associates to perform their jobs
- Participate in monthly food and beverage inventory
