Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a kitchen supervision role
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in supervising kitchen staff in a restaurant or banquet setting
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to train and guide kitchen associates effectively
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Previous experience with inventory management is preferred
  • Culinary certification is an advantage but not required

Job Duties

  • Supervise guide and train kitchen associates to provide quality food production for restaurants and banquets focusing on timing portions food quality and sanitation cleanliness
  • Ensure standards pertaining to storage rotation production portions quality and appearance are followed at all times
  • Follow food handling guidelines
  • Complete opening and closing procedures for Station Cooks I II and III
  • Expedite food efficiently from front line during meal periods
  • Ensure appropriate inventory of supplies and materials for associates to perform their jobs
  • Participate in monthly food and beverage inventory
