Job Requirements

  • Five or more years progressive culinary experience
  • passion for culinary arts
  • basic skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • adaptable interpersonal communication skills
  • proficiency in English language
  • ability to calculate basic math principles
  • ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • ability to lift balance and carry up to 25 lbs
  • ability to lift balance and carry with assistance up to 100 lbs
  • ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods
  • ability to withstand warm to hot environments

Job Qualifications

  • Five or more years progressive culinary experience preferably in multi-service hotel or restaurant
  • passion for culinary arts and experience in wide range of cuisines
  • basic skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • adaptable interpersonal communication skills
  • proficiency in English reading writing and verbal communication
  • ability to calculate basic math principles
  • ability to work in fast-paced high volume environment
  • ability to lift balance and carry up to 25 lbs
  • ability to lift balance and carry with assistance up to 100 lbs
  • ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods
  • ability to withstand warm to hot kitchen environments

Job Duties

  • Prepare and execute high-quality dishes during service ensuring consistency flavor and presentation
  • work with front of house leadership to expo ensuring food flows smoothly from kitchen to dining room while maintaining quality and presentation standards
  • collaborate and coach team to uphold integrity of food guest experience cleanliness and kitchen maintenance
  • demonstrate ability to balance flavor combinations and menu flow to meet guest expectations
  • understand operational metrics and connect them with observations to improve performance
  • mentor team on skill development technique and menu execution fostering continuous growth
  • facilitate communication through daily line ups culinary meetings and staff meetings to discuss ideas concerns and department priorities
  • participate in recruitment training scheduling supervision coaching and motivation of culinary associates for talent development
  • monitor physical facilities and equipment and coordinate with relevant departments to maintain operational standards
  • maintain communication with Executive Chef and management team to align priorities and operational needs
  • uphold company principles of people place and character encouraging team to embody core values
  • partner with Executive Chef and F&B management team to provide exceptional guest experience
