Job Requirements

  • Two years of progressive experience in a high volume food service position
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule with varied days and hours including weekends
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the role satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • Two years of progressive experience in a high volume food service position
  • Experience supervising and coordinating food service staff
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage inventory and kitchen supplies
  • Basic culinary education or equivalent experience

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling and participation in reviews
  • Stores food in designated areas following all corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
  • Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils and cleans workstation thoroughly before leaving area
  • Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • Demonstrates complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to associates and customers
  • Keeps up with peak production and service hours
  • Monitors inventory and deliveries of product and supplies and informs supervisor when supplies or products are low
  • Performs other duties as assigned
