Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of experience leading a back-of-house team in a high volume and full service kitchen
  • Supervisor experience required
  • Valid Food Handlers card
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Two years of experience leading a back-of-house team in a high volume and full service kitchen
  • Supervisor experience required
  • Experience as a Sous Chef preferred
  • Sushi experience preferred
  • Valid Food Handlers card required

Job Duties

  • Ensure a culture of positivity and accountability
  • Execute operational excellence in food quality, service, and guest experience
  • Drive, lead, and oversee all kitchen and sushi operations in partnership with the Executive Chef
  • Ensure critical quality control points for every menu item, as well as portioning and plating to meet specification
  • Hire, train, and develop employees
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly and professionally
  • Participate in culinary skills interview tasting as part of the hiring process
