Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • relevant culinary or kitchen management experience
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume foodservice environment
  • strong organizational and leadership skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs and activities
  • ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as needed

Job Qualifications

  • a.s. or equivalent experience
  • some progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • catering experience
  • knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • experience with computers including microsoft office, outlook, email, and internet
  • servsafe certified is highly desirable

Job Duties

  • assist the executive chef with managing cost controls and control expenditures for the account
  • assist the executive chef with planning and creating menus
  • produce and execute catering events
  • roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
  • supervise hourly kitchen staff and culinary associates
  • maintain high standards in food quality, production, sanitation, and presentation
  • assist with ordering and inventory management
