Job Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in culinary or kitchen management
- Ability to manage cost controls and expenditures
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Competency with computers and software
- Ability to lead and supervise kitchen staff
- Willingness to participate in client satisfaction activities
Job Qualifications
- A.S. degree or equivalent experience
- Progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- Catering experience preferred
- Experience in high volume, complex food service operations
- Knowledge of institutional and batch cooking
- Strong understanding of food trends, quality, production, and presentation
- Proficient with computers including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Internet
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Ability to participate in client satisfaction programs
Job Duties
- Assist the executive chef with managing cost controls and account expenditures
- Assist the executive chef with planning and creating menus
- Produce and execute catering events
- Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
- Supervise hourly associates and kitchen staff
- Oversee food preparation and garnishment
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
