Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a sous chef or in a similar role
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen management
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Familiarity with sanitation and safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Physical ability to stand and move for extended hours
- Flexibility to work varied hours including nights and weekends

- Time management skills
- Effective communication with kitchen staff, wait staff, hosts, bartenders, vendors, suppliers, and guests
- Strong teamwork and leadership abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to sudden changes and special requests
- Ability to focus and work efficiently under pressure
- Physical stamina and good health to remain on feet for long periods
Job Duties
- Help in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menus
- Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise
- Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards
- Fill in for the CDC in planning and directing food preparation when necessary
- Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
- Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff's performance
- Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately
- Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
