Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Three plus years cooking experience in a high volume food service establishment
- Experience training kitchen staff in culinary techniques or other kitchen duties
- Food Handler's Certificate or able to obtain within 14 days of hire
- First Aid and CPR certified or able to obtain within 30 days of hire
- ServSafe Certification or able to obtain as determined by Community needs
- Ability to pass DSHS and State background check
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Ability to adhere to safety, sanitation and infection control procedures
- Culinary knowledge and ability to perform food service functions
- Ability to detect hazardous situations and take corrective actions
- Ability to work scheduled shifts Friday through Tuesday
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Ensure food service delivery standards are met and maintained
- Complete food and supplies inventory and ordering
- Provide support for the culinary team in the absence of Culinary Services Director
- Prepare and present food and meals in accordance with planned menus and recipes
- Follow established portion control procedures
- Maintain cleanliness standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure quality and safety
